The Marina is part of the Crossroad family, located just 20 minutes from Male. The Marina at Crossroad Maldives is the first and largest of its kind in the Maldives - a hub that consists of different shops, restaurants, an event hall, art gallery, museum, hookah bar, cafe, beach club, and even a spa facility! Since its opening, Crossroad Maldives have been expanding the Marina and adding more elements to improve guest experiences. Recently, a candy shop and an ice cream shop have been added to expand the collection of shops!

Another highlight that I wanted to mention here at the Marina is the Maldives Museum - It is probably one of the best, most informative museums that talks about the culture, climate, and marine life here in the Maldives. Everything is presented in a very clean and modern manner, with large touch screens and easy to follow story telling format so even young children can understand and learn about this beautiful country and marine protection.

Besides a promenade filled of restaurants and shops, The Marina is also a safe harbor for private yachts and vessels ranging from 10 - 60 meters. The team here at Crossroad offers an impressive 30 berth quay, complete with world-class facilities, the Yacht Marina @ Crossroad is the ideal place to weight anchor. Guest and crew can also disembark and enjoy the facilities and restaurants at the Marina or check into one of the two sister properties here at HardRock & SAii Lagoon Maldives!

Shops & Restaurants
The idea behind The Marina is to portray the ultimate shopping destination, allowing guests to feel like home when being on an island vacation. There are fashion brands that sell swim and beach wear, cosmetic and beauty products, local arts and crafts, photography studio, electronics-store, pharmacy and even mini supermarket!

Besides the restaurants at HardRock and SAii Lagoon Maldives, there are many more restaurants here at the Marina for guests to choose from. The restaurants are also open to local and international staff members so they can enjoy a taste of home after 9pm! The concept here at the Crossroad encourages staff members to mingle with guests and be part of the entire experience.

As time goes by, more elements and shops are slowly being implemented into the promenade, making it a street that’s filled with culinary experience and nightlife. Featuring international cuisine from around the world including:

- HardRock Maldives (American)
- Nihonbashi Blue (Japanese)
- Ministry of Crab (Sri Lankan)
- Jiao Wu (Cantonese, Chinese)
- Kinkao (Thai)
- Kebab & Kurry (Indian)
- Carne Diem Maldives (Steak House)
- Kalhu Odi (Maldivian)
- Mövenpick Maldives (Ice Cream)

With all the different options, guests can try a different cuisine everyday out of the week!

Lastly, we conclude this culinary experience with Carne Diem Maldives, a steak restaurant with a unique grill that reaches 750C. The oven has 8 different charcoal pits that converts the charcoal grill into an oven. Each steak is cooked in its own chamber with no contact with steel so there’s no singeing meat. Plus there are a wide range of wine collections from around the world to choose from, perfect for guests who enjoy wine pairing! Oh and don’t forget to save room for dessert - the fluffy french toast
