Saii Lagoon Maldives is part of the Curio Collection managed by the Hilton Group, and also one of the island resorts that is part of the multi-island project developed by the Crossroad Maldives. With its close proximity from Male International airport, guests can arrive the island within 20 minutes upon arriving from their international flights.

Accommodations + Service
The design concept at the Saii Lagoon Maldives is very different from Hard Rock Maldives even though they are connected by a bridge and falls under the same Crossroad family. All the rooms have a warm tone, with oak brown as the base, and Orange, Yellow and Green as their accent colors. Overall the design of the interiors have a chic Bohemian style theme, and it feels very welcoming. The moment you walk it, its feels very inviting, and definitely looks like a resort! I think the colors are well balanced, the wall, bed frames are full of details and art work decorations, even the tiles in the bathroom are playful, and colorful, yet not overwhelming. You can tell a lot of thoughts and details were put into designing every aspect of the rooms.

Similar to their sister property at Hard Rock Maldives, Saii Lagoon also offers different category room types that caters to a wide range of clients. Starting with the entry level King Sky Room which has a balcony view overlooking the ocean, and the King Beach Room that is on the ground floor and has direct beach access. There are also connecting rooms here at Saii Lagoon called the Family Beach Room, which allows larger families to be connected, one room is equipped with a king bed, and the other with 2 double beds. The next category up are the King and Twin Beach Villa, the Overwater Villa, and my favorite - the 2 bedroom overwater pool villa! The two bedroom overwater pool villa is over 2500 sqft with ample space in the private terrace and direct access to the lagoon, my favorite part is definitely the living room space that separates the 2 bedrooms (one king, and 2 twin beds), both with private bathrooms, a guests toilet and a mini kitchen. This room can sleep up to 6 guests.

Activities
The water sports and spa facility at Saii Lagoon Maldives are both located on the Marina island. Saii Lagoon and the Marina is basically connected but really spaced out so there’s ample of space for guests to explore. Some of the rooms even provide bikes so guests can bike around 3 islands!

At the water sports and drive center, guests can explore nearby reefs for snorkeling and diving, visit sandbanks, dolphin cruises, fishing trips, and even try out the semi submarine! All the snorkel gears, pedal boat and even kayak is free for guests to use.

Here at Saii Lagoon, the kids club is called Koimala & Maalimi’s Junior Beach Club and Camp, it’s catered to children between age 4 - 15. The name Koimala and Maalimi comes from the two characters in Maldivian folklore, Koimala represents the wise turtle prince, and Maalimi is a mythical black marlin, the fastest fish in the ocean. Parents can be assured that their kids will have an amazing time here as the activities are so much fun and also educational. There’s even a play space facility where large groups of families can do activities together such as arts & crafts, cooking lessons, karaoke, musical games and movies, etc…

As for SPA - Lèn Be Well Spa, it is a nice stand alone double story spa and wellness facility that offers a wide range of treatments. You can find the Spa Menu here.
