When it comes to visiting Iceland over the winter, many immediately thought of the Northern Lights. That was also my initial thought, but after doing more research, I realize there are so much more to see and do. I have to say that Winter in Iceland looks and feels completely different than Iceland Summer; it is endless white everywhere, truly a beautiful white wonderland.
There are a few things that I would highly recommend:
- Visiting the Opera House
- Going up the church for a panorama view
- Northern Lights tour
- Ice Cave exploration
